I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
